Welcome to TonyLafo.com. This is where you’ll find the latest information, news, and photographs of our quest to reach Victory Lane! The American Sign Motorsports 2009 Chevy Monte Carlo is ready to go to the front. Our crew is proud of the work they’ve done off-season to get this car ready and they will be working tirelessly this season to make sure we stay ahead of the pack.

April/MAY 2009

News Update- April/May 2009 We are Very Excited to announce a number of updates for 2009. The 2009 “American Sign Motorsports” Late Model is complete and ready to go racing. After 1 year off, Tony Lafo is back as the Driver and is very eager to hit the track. We have made several changes during the off-season. For the 2009 season we have decided to go a bit “retro” and go back to Tony’s original #82 which he won many races with back from 1999-2001 at Waterford Speedbowl. We have also gone back to a simple black paint scheme for the car this year. Our primary sponsor, “Levy, Leff & DeFrank” Personal Injury Lawyers have joined us again for the 5th straight year. We also welcome back American Sign, J Devoe Trucking, Eliant technologies, Akzo Noble Paints and Campus Customs. The #82 Late Model is a new car that Dave Lafo (Crew Chief)built in 2008. For 2009 we have a new motor from “Performance Engines by Billy The Kid” as well as a new “Buzzy” transmission. We also replaced our hauler over the winter with a new “Pace Daytona Edition” white 28’ enclosed Trailer. Over the winter we have chosen a new spotter, “Harold Burdick” and have assembled an entirely new crew for 2009. Check back in May on our “team” page to meet the new crew. We think we have all of the right pieces in place to have a strong, competitive and FUN season in 2009. We will be at Stafford’s open practice on Saturday the 18^th of April and we will make our on track debut the following weekend at the Spring Sizzler. We look forward to meeting all of our fans and friends on Sunday, April 26th at the Annual “CARQUEST Belts & Hoses” Pit Party.
